RSCDS New York

The New York Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society invites you to join the worldwide community of dancers who thrill to fast-moving jigs and reels and stately strathspeys. Learn or polish your dancing skills in the friendly atmosphere of our classes. Share the joys of Scottish dancing and pageantry at our parties and Highland Balls. All welcome! No experience necessary! Come with or without a partner.

New Basic Class Format. For our next series of classes (February 9 - March 30, 2017), we have restructured the basic class and are offering a significant discount for beginner dancers. Newcomers are required to sign up for the full series of eight classes, but at a special reduced package price of $50. Each evening will include a warmup, class, tea break, and one dance after the break with the experienced class. (There will be no changes for current experienced dancers.) Flyer
