The Pawling Bazaar benefits The Joan Treble Scholarship Fund, which is used to promote Scottish Country Dancing in the New York area by encouraging dancers to improve their skills through participation in workshops and training courses.
Joan Treble (d. 2003) was a beloved and distinguished dancer, teacher, and deviser with long-standing ties to the New York Branch. It was at Pawling 2003 that Joan danced her last. Here she is at far right, with other dancers who had attended early Pawling weekends.
Please honor Joan's memory and help the Fund to continue good works by recycling used dance-related attire at the Bazaar.
