The New York Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society
invites you to our 46th Annual Spring Weekend
at Circle Lodge, Hopewell Junction, New York.
May 15-17, 2009
Join us in celebrating the Branch's 50th anniversary!
Festivities begin with a buffet supper Friday, May 15, at 6 p.m.
and conclude after a Champagne Dance on Sunday, May 17, at 3:15 p.m.
We are delighted to have Pat Coyle of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Eric Finley of Ayr, Scotland, and Terry Harvey of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, as our teachers. We will have the exciting music of Bobby Brown and the Scottish Accent at our Saturday Night Highland Ball, our Friday night Welcome Dance, and our classes! Jim Stevenson-Mathews of the New York Branch will play for classes as well.
Saturday and Sunday classes will be at the Experienced beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Makeup of the classes will be subject to the discretion of the teachers. Please be modest in estimating your dancing ability. All of our teachers are excellent, and each class will be a marvelous learning experience.
